United Methodist Volunteers in Mission

Team Leader Training is required for all first time United Methodist Volunteers In Mission team leaders, but all interested persons are welcome to attend whether leading a team or not. The Virginia Conference offers sessions in different parts of the state. Invite your friends! Must have eight participants to offer this training.  Attendance may be restricted at some locations. The following training events are currently scheduled:

Sept. 24, 2016, Warwick Memorial UMC, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., 8 Hoopes Rd, Newport News, VA 23602

Please make sure you mail the form in time to reach the conference office the Monday before the date of your event.

There is a $55 registration fee for each participant, payable when you register. Lunch will be provided. Continuing Education Units (0.5 units) will be provided for those needing CEU certification.

Pre-registration is required. Register online using a credit card by using the links, or pay by check and send the registration form to the Center for Justice and Missional Excellence, PO Box 5606, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5606. Use the links under the event you wish to attend to make payment. All registrations MUST be in the office of Mission and Global Justice by noon on the Monday before the training event.
