COVID-19 NOTICE
The Upper Room is open. Face coverings are required for entry.
The Upper Room Ministries runs a thrift store, located on East Atlantic Street next to the Medicine Shoppe. The store is open every Saturday except the last Saturday of each month, from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Donations are welcome! Donations are also welcome on Tuesday afternoons. Because we are able to operate with very little overhead, virtually all funds raised by the store help support many mission projects that feed, educate, and make a difference in the lives of people here in the South Hill area and across the globe.
We help supply local children with needed clothing during the school year. Donations of new or gently-used clothing sizes 6 to 16 are needed for this important outreach. In particular jeans, underwear (new only), and winter coats sizes 6, 8, 10, 12 are in short supply.
We are in need of clothing patterns and fabric that can be sent to an international mission partner.
We currently also have an inventory of nice donated furniture that we would love to sell you! Our inventory is constantly changing. For more information about any of these items, call (434)262-0424.

Mr. Carroll – I am working on my Mom’s house and was hoping to coordinate an “off cycle” drop off on the evening of the 24th. I am going to be doing a considerable amount of work that day and would really like to donate to The Upper Room. Would someone be available around 6:30PM to meet me there?
